Congratulations to Natalie Vanesteene and Ian Tharpe on each winning their conference cross-country individual championship! Natalie ran her 3K race in 11:09.64 or a 5:59 minute mile pace! Ian Tharpe ran his 3K race in 10:04.70 or a 5:24 minute mile pace!

Congratulations to our Franklin Central Marching Flashes! They traveled to Ohio, placed 5th at the Bands of America competition, and were named “Outstanding Music Performance!” This was the highest placing the Marching Flashes have ever received. FTCSC once again applied for and received the maximum amount, $100,000, in a school safety grant from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. This money will be used to continue to improve our school safety plan at Franklin Central High School and increase the number of radios for our staff.
