Best Finish for Marching Flashes at Bands of America Regional

Congratulations to our Franklin Central Marching Flashes! They traveled to Ohio, placed 5th at the Bands of America competition, and were named “Outstanding Music Performance!” This was the highest placing the Marching Flashes have ever received. FTCSC receives $100,000 School Safety Grant

FTCSC once again applied for and received the maximum amount, $100,000, in a school safety grant from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. This money will be used to continue to improve our school safety plan at Franklin Central High School and increase the number of radios for our staff.

FTCSC saves millions in bond refunding

Mr. McWhorter, FTCSC Chief Operating Officer/Treasurer, shares that the FTCSC Business Department refunded (refinanced) $12.4 million in callable bonds for a new lower rate without extending the term of the bonds.
