Formative Assessments

Common Formative Assessments (CFAs) refer to a set district designed pre and post assessments given every few weeks to determine student progress toward their learning goals. The results from these assessments help guide the teacher on their next steps and identify areas of need throughout the classroom.

Clearsight is program designed to reflect a student’s progress toward mastery of state standards. The assessment is given 3 times a year, and the data is present to help teachers identify which standards their students are struggling to master.
