FC Flashes Track teams dominate at Marion County Championship and Sectionals

Congratulations to Becca Uhlik and Aidan Williams for sweeping the Girls and Boys Pole Vault at the Marion County Championship and Lillian Towne for winning the Discus at the Marion County Championship! Our Flashes Girls Track team was the Sectional Runner-Up at Sectionals and will be advancing to the Regional Championship next week in 12 of the 16 track and field events, including ALL 5 OF THE FIELD EVENTS! Congratulations to Abby Adams as she was a double Sectional Champion in the 1600 and 800, running season-best times in both events. Becca Uhlik won the pole vault! Savana Miller and Dakota Miller went 1-2 in the 3200, with Savana winning the Sectional title. Also advancing to Regionals:  Dez Webber with a shot put throw of 35’11”, Lillian Towne with a discus throw of 110’11”, Dakota Miller with a high jump of 8′, Breece Bass with a long jump of 16’4″ and a 400M time of 1:00.62, 4X100M Relay team, and the 4X800M Relay team. At Sectionals, our Flashes Boys Track team was the Sectional Runner-Up. The following athletes/relay teams will be advancing to the Regional Championship next week – Brayden Henkle was the Sectional Champion in the 1600M with a time of 4:27, Joseph Ashman in the 400M with a time of 51:70, Alexand Parkhurst in the 800M with a time of 1:58:08, Evan Farmer was the Sectional Champion in the 3200M with a time of 9:53:91, 4X400M Relay Team, 4X100M Relay Team, 4X800M Relay team was the Sectional Champion, Braylen Gillard in the Long Jump with a jump of 21’7.5″, Braylen Gillard in the High Jump with a jump of 6′, Alex Evans was the Sectional Champion in the Discus Throw with a throw of 158’10”,  Jordan Aataveon in the Shot Put with a throw of 52’8.5″, Aidan Williams in the Pole Vault with a jump of 13’6″ and Eldon Jackson in the Pole Vault with a jump of 13’6″.
